In June of 2020, I finished my PhD at Texas Tech in Literacy, Diversity, and Language: Feedback in the Writing Conference was my focus. Now that I am retired from Region 16, I can fully focus my efforts and service to Literacy. My friends helped me build a library in the back yard for all the lovely books and resources that inform my research.
My dog, Joy, is my number one fan and helps me run an AirandB at my home, where I host people from all over the world.
A critical piece of my work is the time I spend doing pro-bono consulting with a local school district. This allows me to share what I have been so generously given over the years. I'm also co-teaching Senior English with my 81 year old mother to complete the final year of homeschooling for my niece, Emma.
